ITEMized (demo)

Overview

In this space-centered puzzle game, you've been accepted for a job at Estrella Corporation, arguably the galaxy's biggest e-commerce company. Your task is to remotely guide its main delivery spaceship, the ITEM (Interstellar Transporter for Elements and Materials), to its goal, utilizing the Rotation Triggers at your disposal.

Accompanying you is Estrella's top-of-the-line, sentient employee training AI, Carina! Her job is to help you complete your tasks with ease through her helpful tips, grabbed straight from Estrella's vast database. Don't be afraid to request assistance; that's what the Information Button is for!

Features

ITEMized has a main story mode, as well as a level editor.

The story mode follows you, Estrella's newest employee, meeting Carina as she shows you how to do your job without issue. Delve into the lore of ITEMized by talking with Carina. Perhaps you could find something more about Estrella along the way... Currently, only the first chapter of the game is finished, including 5 pre-made levels created specifically to introduce you to the game and its mechanics (these levels will be updated later because they weren't well thought-out...).

The level editor allows you to make your own ITEMized levels, albeit without the ability to activate dialogue from Carina (support for custom Carina dialogue will come in the future). Instead of only being able to place down Rotation Triggers, you can place down every object that the game has to offer, including hazards! Custom levels can be easily shared with anyone due to them being saved as JSON files that are usually no bigger than 20 kilobytes. Talk about storage efficiency!
